RANTS, RAVES & RAMBLINGS FROM THE HEAD HONCHO
Nothing makes me feel like all the work that goes into this place by yours
truly, and our family and staff, is all so very worth it until I see huge
crowds of you just loving a movie like BOOK CLUB.
As I said last week, BOOK CLUB was a real squabble with those "other guys".
They really didn't want it that badly, but they didn't want US to have it!!
It ended up WE had it and THEY did NOT!!
Sometimes the Cinema Gods do us a real solid.

Now, as we go into the 2nd week with it, we'll see how it all shakes out.
Maybe they'll pick it up, or maybe they won't.
One thing is for sure: We've had hundreds for it this week, and took the
cream right out of their coffee! 
IF they DO grab it too, we have a blessed head-start on them!

So, why am I so focused on BOOK CLUB instead of our other 2
mega-blockbusters, SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY and DEADPOOL 2??
Because BOOK CLUB is one for OUR team!
-The loyal patrons who have kept us alive for going on 20 years!
It's not very often a real crowd pleaser for OUR folks comes along.
You can bet your sweet bippy I'm going to praise it to the skies!!

Sue and I (and the rest of the family hooligans) are off to my beloved
niece, Megan's, wedding in Arkansas this holiday weekend. My right-hand,
Ashley, will be in charge, along with most of our crackerjack staff you've
all come to know so well. Stop in and see BOOK CLUB again, or one of our
other offerings. Or just buy some of our legendary popcorn to go.
Or just stop in and say howdy. I'm sure they will all be missing me
terribly! 
I'll be back on Monday.
Have a safe and wonderful Memorial Day weekend. It looks like its going to
be HOT!
