RANTS, RAVES & RAMBLINGS FROM THE HEAD HONCHO

As we move into Thanksgiving 2015, I stop to ponder what exactly is this
holiday of "Giving Thanks" ?
Is it stuffing ourselves with turkey and pumpkin pie, and all the various
accompaniments?
Of course not.

In these perilous times, our "thanks" is greatly underscored by how
fortunate most of us are.

My late mother used to talk about how "mean" the world had become.
I thought the word "mean" was an odd choice of description.
But, now I don't.

Given the events of last week, I think "mean", while now much too mild a
word for the atrocities we have seen, seems to have a fundamental gravitas.

Vive la France
