MALEFICENT: Mistress of Evil (PG)
In Disney's "Maleficent: Mistress of Evil," a sequel to the 2014 global box
office hit, Maleficent and her goddaughter Aurora begin to question the
complex family ties that bind them as they are pulled in different
directions by impending nuptials, unexpected allies and dark new forces at
play. The years have been kind to Maleficent and Aurora. Their relationship,
born of heartbreak, revenge and ultimately love, has flourished. Yet the
hatred between man and the fairies still exists. Aurora's impending marriage
to Prince Phillip is cause for celebration in the kingdom of Ulstead and the
neighboring Moors, as the wedding serves to unite the two worlds.

Theodore "Theo" Decker (Ansel Elgort) was 13 years old when his mother was
killed in a bombing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The tragedy changes
the course of his life, sending him on a stirring odyssey of grief and
guilt, reinvention and redemption, and even love. Through it all, he holds
on to one tangible piece of hope from that terrible day...a painting of a
tiny bird chained to its perch. The Goldfinch.

RANTS, RAVES & RAMBLINGS FROM THE HEAD HONCHO
The Avon's annual no-holds-barred costume bash of THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE
SHOW, on our stage with the Millikin Shadow Cast and on our screen with the
notorious movie, will be at 10:00 PM this year instead of Midnight, as it
has been for the past 15 years.
We always wanted to try 10:00 PM, but it was too far into the season before
we thought about it.
This year, its at 10:00 PM, and we'll see how it goes. We can always go back
to Midnight if we want to next year.
So, ROCKY HORROR on FRI, Oct. 25th and SAT, Oct. 26th at 10:00 PM. Spread
the word!
