BLACK PANTHER (PG13)

"Black Panther" follows T'Challa who, after the events of "Captain America:
Civil War," returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African
nation of Wakanda to take his place as King. However, when an old enemy
reappears on the radar, T'Challa's mettle as King and Black Panther is
tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda
and the world at risk.

heights while telling one of the MCU's most absorbing stories -- and

THE 15:17 TO PARIS (PG13)
In the early evening of August 21, 2015, the world watched in stunned
silence as the media reported a thwarted terrorist attack on Thalys train
#9364 bound for Paris, an attempt prevented by three courageous young
Americans traveling through Europe. The film follows the course of the
friends' lives, from the struggles of childhood through finding their
footing in life, to the series of unlikely events leading up to the attack.
Throughout the harrowing ordeal, their friendship never wavers, making it
their greatest weapon and allowing them to save the lives of the more than
500 passengers on board.

GAME NIGHT (R)

Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams star as Max and Annie, whose weekly couples
game night gets kicked up a notch when Max's charismatic brother, Brooks
(Chandler), arranges a murder mystery party, complete with fake thugs and
faux federal agents. So when Brooks gets kidnapped, it's all part of the
game - right? But as the six uber-competitive gamers set out to solve the
case and win, they begin to discover that neither this game - nor Brooks -
are what they seem to be. Over the course of one chaotic night, the friends
find themselves increasingly in over their heads as each twist leads to
another unexpected turn. With no rules, no points, and no idea who all the
players are, this could turn out to be the most fun they've ever had... or
game over.

RANTS, RAVES & RAMBLINGS FROM THE HEAD HONCHO
If all early indications are correct, America's theaters are about to be
swarmed with BLACK PANTHER.

This new Marvel film, is not the average Marvel film, and boasts the highest
ratings of any Marvel film to date!
At last look, the Rotten Tomatoes internet compendium ratings were at an
astounding 98% positive. This means, out of 146 of America's critics, only
one or two old grouches did NOT give it a 'Thumbs Up' (to evoke the memory
of lamented critic Roger Ebert).
(In fact, Roger's old partner, Richard Roeper said it was "the best
superhero movie of this century". That's saying a LOT!)
We'll find out what all the fuss is about in just about 24 hours when our
doors open for the Premiere.

But, just in case this thing goes really nuts, we have cleared 2 screens for
it this first week.

Still playing is Clint Eastwood's marvelous "The 15:17 To Paris" (PG13), but
everything else has been dropped to give more showtimes for BLACK PANTHER.

It's a 4 day holiday with President's Day, and we have extended our hours
too.

PLUS.It looks like we're in for some better weather next week, after a
spotty coming weekend.
