THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS (PG)
For their fifth fully-animated feature-film collaboration, Illumination
Entertainment and Universal Pictures present The Secret Life of Pets, a
comedy about the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school each
day. Comedy superstars Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet and Kevin Hart make
their animated feature-film debuts in The Secret Life of Pets, which
co-stars Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Jenny Slate, Bobby Moynihan, Hannibal
Buress and Albert Brooks. Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and
his longtime collaborator Janet Healy produce the film directed by Chris
Renaud (Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2), co-directed by Yarrow Cheney and
written by Brian Lynch and Cinco Paul & Ken Daurio.

It has been years since the man once known as Tarzan (Alexander Skarsgård)
left the jungles of Africa behind for a gentrified life as John Clayton III,
Lord Greystoke, with his beloved wife, Jane (Margot Robbie) at his side.
Now, he has been invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of
Parliament, unaware that he is a pawn in a deadly convergence of greed and
revenge, masterminded by the Belgian, Captain Leon Rom (Christoph Waltz).
But those behind the murderous plot have no idea what they are about to
unleash.

Its turning out to be a wonderful summer for the movies!
After FINDING DORY, I thought that was just about the high point for the
summer family films, but then comes THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS, and wow, we are
off to the races!
Those of you who have still not seen THE LEGEND OF TARZAN, you have one more
week!
I’m telling you that once you see it, you will want to see it again!
Don’t let me down and capitulate to the negative-minded pea brain
critics
SEE THE LEGEND OF TARZAN!!
