Based on an incredible true story of one man's fight for survival and freedom. In the pre-Civil War United States, Solomon Northup (Chiwetel Ejiofor), a free black man from upstate New York, is abducted and sold into slavery. Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever.

Mr. & Mrs. Head Honcho Celebrated Their 29th Wedding Anniversary last Sunday!
RANTS, RAVES & RAMBLINGS FROM THE HEAD HONCHO
So, Thanksgiving will soon be here, and then onward to Christmas!!
I always look forward to the holidays because so many great movies come out at that time.

What I don't look forward to is the cold weather and the long slog after New Year's before the first signs of Spring!

We've got a bit of a cold snap right now, but I hear it will clear up soon and turn into seasonable, albeit rainy, weather!

Its a kind of bittersweeet knowledge that my LAST film class (after 13 years!) will be this Thursday.
It has been an incredible journey, but I'm simply too busy with the Avon, and our new theater in Sterling, Illinois, plus ANOTHER project that is top secret right now.
There are some who think I will merely take a break from teaching and start up again in a year or so (or less).

I 'think' have learned to never say "never"!
