Here is one of the most "definitive" of the genre known as "Avon movies" we have played in quite a while!!
JUDI DENCH, MAGGIE SMITH and a whole bunch of British stars you know and love all come together in this wonderful comedy about a group of seniors going to India, and all the trouble they get in to!
The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel follows a group of British retirees who decide to "outsource" their retirement to less expensive and seemingly exotic India. Enticed by advertisements for the newly restored Marigold Hotel and bolstered with visions of a life of leisure, they arrive to find the palace a shell of its former self. Though the new environment is less luxurious than imagined, they are forever transformed by their shared experiences, discovering that life and love can begin again when you let go of the past.

Wheee, doggies, Avonians!
I am so excited to see THE BEST EXOTIC MARIGOLD HOTEL finally coming to a Decatur movie screen!

Here is the "little movie that could" in that it is currently #6 in the nation with only a little over 300 screens!!!
Compare that to the latest alien-invasion-spandex-wearing-blow-everything-up-one-size-fits-all movies that make it to the top of the charts with a gazillion screens and many of them adding obnoxious and outrageous 3D "surcharges" (more like utter, dripping GREED charges!) and you see that THE BEST EXOTIC MARIGOLD HOTEL is an OASIS from the pabulum-for-the-masses the clueless studios foist upon us every summer!

BE SURE TO SUPPORT THIS MOVIE, as there are not many (if any) more like it coming until summer is over!

And guess what?? In the Decatur area, THE BEST EXOTIC MARIGOLD HOTEL is ONLY at THE AVON!!
(not that true Avonians would set foot at any of those dreaded "other guys" anyway!)
