THE MUPPETS  (PG)
On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world's biggest Muppet fan, and his friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets' former stomping grounds. To stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate.

Honestly, when is the last time you saw a movie from director Clint Eastwood that wasn't uniformly excellent?

TOWER HEIST (PG13)
Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy lead an all-star cast in Tower Heist, a comedy caper about working stiffs who seek revenge on the Wall Street swindler who stiffed them. After the workers at a luxury Central Park condominium discover the penthouse billionaire has stolen their retirement, they plot the ultimate revenge: a heist to reclaim what he took from them. 
This one has a great cast, and is tons of fun!!

The Avon's "Godfather", Troy Taylor, has made it his person mission to expand the Avon's snack menu, and, wowser, he is doing just that!
Look for even more to come, as the Avon heads toward an unprecedented time!
(We waited for years for someone to have a restaurant really near to us that would be OPEN on Sundays -what a concept!- and now it looks like we will have to do it ourselves!)
