YES, We are OPEN during Celebration!!
When a movie that is as PERFECT for us like "JULIE & JULIA" comes along, we can forget
about vacations!!!
However, please note: The Avon Twins annex next door will NOT be open during Decatur Celebration!!+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
JULIE & JULIA (PG13) Oh, my golly!! This instant heart-warmer based on TWO true stories, is so indelibly stamped with "THE AVON" that I can't imagine any other theater playing it! MERYL STREEP as Julia Childs and AMY ADAMS as the real-life authoress who wrote a book about cooking through the entire recipe book of Childs!
It's funny, it's romantic, it's dee-lish-us (as our boss-lady Ashley likes to say), and, most of all: It is WORTH you coming down to Decatur Celebration to see!
This summer has been filled with a ton of "mall movies" and not much for grown-ups...
-Well, the summer ain't over yet, folks!
With JULIE & JULIA this week, and THE TIME TRAVELER'S WIFE and Michael Caine's IS ANYBODY THERE? next week, there might just be hope for the Avon's intelligent and discerning audiences yet this summer!
Come "Celebrate" AVON MOVIES at their BEST!!
