teacher's point of view, Daniel Day Lewis' performance here ranks among the

caliber as Marlon Brando in THE GODFATHER or Robert DeNiro in RAGING BULL!! It
is an outrageous, audacious and ferocious performance!!</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT face=Georgia size=2>The movie itself is definitely one of
those "Love It or Hate it" films. It is an epic in every sense of the word, and
paints a broad canvas of the Texas oilfields in the 1920's and

"brutal"?? Yes, at times.</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
