BEAUTY & THE BEAST (PG) 
Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" is a live-action re-telling of the studio's
animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as
old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music
while updating the score with several new songs. "Beauty and the Beast" is
the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young
woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she
befriends the castle's enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast's
hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince
within. The film stars: Emma Watson as Belle; Dan Stevens as the Beast; Luke
Evans as Gaston, the handsome, but shallow villager who woos Belle; Oscar
(R) winner Kevin Kline as Maurice, Belle's eccentric, but lovable father;
Josh Gad as Lefou, Gaston's long-suffering aide-de-camp; Golden Globe (R)
nominee Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, the candelabra; Oscar nominee Stanley
Tucci as Maestro Cadenza, the harpsichord; Oscar nominee Ian McKellen as
Cogsworth, the mantel clock; and two-time Academy Award (R) winner Emma
Thompson as the teapot, Mrs. Potts. Directed by Oscar (R) winner Bill Condon
based on the 1991 animated film, "Beauty and the Beast" is produced by
Mandeville Films' David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman, with eight-time
Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken, who won two Academy Awards (R) (Best
Original Score and Best Song) for the 1991 animated film, providing the
score, which will include new recordings of the original songs written by
Menken and Howard Ashman, as well as several new songs written by Menken and
three-time Oscar winner Tim Rice. "Beauty and the Beast" will be released in
U.S. theaters on March 17, 2017.

Critics Consensus: With an enchanting cast, beautifully crafted songs, and a
painterly eye for detail, Beauty and the Beast offers a faithful yet fresh
retelling that honors its beloved source material.

people's minds and control them, Major is uniquely qualified to stop it. As
she prepares to face a new enemy, Major discovers that she has been lied to:
her life was not saved, it was stolen. She will stop at nothing to recover
her past, find out who did this to her and stop them before they do it to
others. Based on the internationally acclaimed Japanese Manga, "The Ghost in
the Shell."

most unusual baby. He wears a suit, speaks with the voice and wit of Alec
Baldwin, and stars in the animated comedy, DreamWorks' The Boss Baby. The
Boss Baby is a hilariously universal story about how a new baby's arrival
impacts a family, told from the point of view of a delightfully unreliable
narrator, a wildly imaginative 7 year old named Tim. With a sly,
heart-filled message about the importance of family, DreamWorks' The Boss

Sunshine") team up as lifelong buddies Willie, Joe and Al, who decide to
buck retirement and step off the straight-and-narrow for the first time in
their lives when their pension fund becomes a corporate casualty, in
director Zach Braff's comedy "Going in Style." Desperate to pay the bills
and come through for their loved ones, the three risk it all by embarking on
a daring bid to knock off the very bank that absconded with their money.

For the 13th year in a row, YOU have voted us #1 "BEST MOVIE THEATRE"!!

Plus, there is a new category, only started last year, "Best Theatre Venue",
and you voted us #1 on that too!!

I remember when the awards started, I never thought we would win against
those "other guys" (and I'm betting THEY didn't think so either!).
But, now, 13 years later, you continue to show loyal support.

I am so touched.
We ALL work so hard.

Every one of our staff is a trouper, not a slacker in the bunch!
When we receive an honor like this, it makes it all worthwhile.

The Summer film classes are in the planning stages. The movies are starting
to be chosen, and we are looking forward to our most popular class:
"OVERLOOKED FILMS". We lost track a long time ago, but I think this is the
17th year for "OVERLOOKED FILMS", if it's not 17 its darn near to it; maybe
16.
We always do "OVERLOOKED FILMS" in the summer, and classes start June 15th.
You can pick up enrollment form flyers in mid-May.
