And, 2017 shuffles into the dustbin of history.
What will we remember 2017 as?
For one, it was the worst movie summer and fall you could imagine!
It's being redeemed here in the last few weeks of the year, but the
hoo-hah's in Hollywood really let us all down in 2017.
And, then there was the "comeuppance" of some despicable public figures.
It all points to a trend that will change history:
You can't treat women like chattel any longer.

I have had a staff of mostly young women for almost 20 years.
One of them is in her 12th year with me, and several others at just about
that length.
We have a VERY low employee turnover, and we have a waiting list for
openings (that are few and far between).
We've even had some who have left for other jobs, and come back to us as a
second job, or just because they missed us.
None of that would happen if these ladies weren't treated with respect.

Maybe its because I am blessed to be surrounded by brilliant woman in my
personal life too. My wife and daughter, and 2 granddaughters are and will
be no one's fool.

Whatever the provocation these powerful men had to disrespect and philander,
they are all paying for it now!

Let's look forward to a better 2018. Better movies. Better sensibilities.
Better manners.
Like Abraham Lincoln said in his first inaugural address: "The better angels
of our nature"
