THE PERFECT VALENTINE'S DAY ROMANCE!!

Set in a mythic New York City and spanning more than a century, "Winter's Tale" is a story of miracles, crossed destinies, and the age-old battle between good and evil. The film stars Colin Farrell ("Total Recall"), Jessica Brown Findlay (TV's "Downton Abbey"), and Oscar (R) winners Jennifer Connelly ("A Beautiful Mind"), William Hurt ("Kiss of the Spider Woman"), Eva Marie Saint ("On the Waterfront") and Russell Crowe ("Gladiator"). "Winter's Tale" also introduces young newcomers Ripley Sobo and Mckayla Twiggs (both from Broadway's "Once").

"The LEGO Movie" is the first-ever, full-length theatrical LEGO adventure. The original animated story follows Emmet (Chris Pratt) an ordinary, rules- following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared. 
Boasting beautiful animation, a charming voice cast, laugh-a-minute gags, and a surprisingly thoughtful story, The Lego Movie is colorful fun for all ages.

Director Alexander Payne (Sideways, The Descendants) takes the helm for this black and white road trip drama starring Bruce Dern as a tempestuous Missouri father who's convinced he's won a million dollar magazine sweepstakes, and Will Forte as the son who grudgingly agrees to drive him to Nebraska to claim his winnings. Bob Odenkirk and Stacy Keach costar.
Elegant in its simplicity and poetic in its message, Nebraska adds another stirringly resonant chapter to Alexander Payne's remarkable filmography.

RANTS, RAVES & RAMBLINGS FROM THE HEAD HONCHO
So, I found out complaining about this incredibly cold weather will get me nowhere...

I thought about jumping in the car and heading for someplace, anyplace, that was warm!
But, it seems there are few places in the country that it is actually WARM!!
Maybe Florida?? (Although I hate Florida).
Maybe Arizona? Too far to drive.

I know there are people who can afford to get away, just going to an airport and saying "Take me anyplace where it is HOT!"
Must be nice.

Well, if you look at the forecast, it 'looks' like we're getting a break next week.
I'll believe it when I see it!
Just yesterday some hellacious storm front hit the east coast and the south, and we're supposed to believe we MAY be going out of it?

Let's just hope!

BUT, on a more positive note: HAPPY VALENTINES DAY, EVERYBODY!!
