But, in the midst of the chaos, six Americans manage to slip away and find refuge in the home of the Canadian ambassador. Knowing it is only a matter of time before the six are found out and likely killed, a CIA "exfiltration" specialist named Tony Mendez (Ben Affleck) comes up with a risky plan to get them safely out of the country. RANTS, RAVES & RAMBLINGS FROM THE HEAD HONCHO

Whew!!
We survived (barely) another ROCKY HORROR midnight bash!

It was a huge event, and great fun was had by all!

The ROCKY HORROR event was not without some mishaps, though, and some of them pretty darn basic, and some of it....rather...odd.

The "basic" was our stalwart and steadfast General 'Mangler' (her words), Ashley Petty, tossing some drunks out on their ear Friday night. She's a tough 'un!

The "odd" was Saturday night when some people came who were not aware we have a many-year policy of searching attendees of ROCKY HORROR for certain contraband items...
We confiscate food props (if you know the ROCKY HORROR mythos, then you know what I'm talking about), Super-Soakers (yup, you had to be there), lighters (duh!), any other illegal substances, and, of course...alcohol.
The couple who were not aware of this security policy for ROCKY HORROR took offense to this, and started a thread on FaceBook stating we had started to search people for ALL SHOWS!!

Of course, then all the internet hate-mongers who like nothing better than to pile-on and bully came out of the woodwork!

Luckily, cooler heads and Avon supporters came to our rescue and informed the internet mob that we ONLY search for ROCKY HORROR, and NO OTHER SHOWS! EVER!

I honestly was starting to feel like at the end of "Frankenstein" when the villagers light their torches and march on the castle!!
-AND ALL BECAUSE WE WERE MAKING SURE EVERYONE WAS SAFE & SANE AT THE "ROCKY HORROR" EVENT!!

The internet is a wonderful thing. So miraculous and phenomenal, it is hard to believe we once lived without it.
But, in the hands of those who mean harm or malicious damage, it can be one of the most lethal weapons man has ever devised!

In this case, it was just an old fashion misunderstanding of the people who made the original FaceBook post. It was quickly explained with a phone call, and all was straightened out....

But, the others who compounded and amplified this situation should be ashamed.

All of you know me.
I am right there at the theater every weekend if you have a problem.

If something happens to make you upset with us, TALK TO ME!
Don't just light a fire on the internet that can quickly turn into a conflagration!
There are too many cowards hiding out there on the world wide web who just love them a lynching.
