The official "mea culpa" notice in the rare cases we make a mistake in our newsletter!

In yesterday's newsletter, I identified actress MILA KUNIS, from the upcoming mind-blower BLACK SWAN as having previously been in the movie "American Beauty"...
Well, as Bullwinkle the Moose often said: "That was wrong-o!" Actually, the actress from "American Beauty" was Mena Suvari.
 I am glad we cleared this up for all of you who screamed bloody-murder.
(Actually, all those funny-named new actresses are really one and the same person. Its a huge hoax perpetrated by Hollywood, and will all be exposed soon. The real identity of all of these funny-named actresses is PIA ZADORA! You heard it here first!)

Another boo-boo that I discovered, is I listed THE GIRL WHO KICKED THE HORNET'S NEST as ending on Sunday, when it does not!
It ends on TUESDAY!
It will play this weekend, then Monday and Tuesday @ 6:30 PM ONLY, but must leave then to make way for the big holiday movies coming!
TRUE GRIT and BLACK SWAN start on WEDNESDAY!

Now, here is a boo-boo that YOU might make, and I need to warn you about it...ready?
WE WILL PLAY THE OSCAR-BUZZED MOVIE "THE FIGHTER" ON JANUARY 31st!!

It will open at "the other guys" on the 17th, and we could have opened it then too, but with only 3 screens, we have to "position" the screens perfectly for things that are coming and going. The studios insist on a certain minimum number of days you have to hold any given film, and I thought as long as I informed all of you that you do NOT have to brave the mean screens of Carmike to see THE FIGHTER, you might consider WAITING until the 31st to see it at your good ol' Avon!!

REMEMBER TOO:
The Avon has the EXCLUSIVE on BLACK SWAN.
This eye-popping, mind-blowing Hitchcock-type mystery set in the ballet world is already generating great reviews and HUGE Oscar buzz!
So, on that one, don't worry about those "other guys", because THEY WON'T GET IT!!
