If you liked the other Disney/Pixar movies like THE INCREDIBLES or CARS or RATATOUILLE, this is another slam-dunk! A very different and original story that has to be seen to be described! It's a love story, folks, but it is sooooo much more than that! NOTE EXTENDED SHOWTIMES!!

GET SMART  (PG13) Would you believe this is really a hilarious movie? WELL, you can bet your sweet bippy! No matter what some of the self-inflated, smarty-pants critics said, this was a butt-kicker at the box-office last week, and blew away all the competition! STEVE CARELL could not be a better choice to take over the role made famous by Don Adams, and foxy ANNE HATHAWAY has progressed from a debutante to a real babe! Her role as Agent 99 makes one forget all about Barbara Feldon. This is a great time at the movies, folks!

A NOTE FROM THE HEAD HONCHO...
So, Summer's here and the time is right for movies at The Avon!

Those of you who know me well enough, know that Summer is my favorite time of year...
Not just because it is great for the movie biz, but because I love being out in the hot, hot sun!
(In fact, I even move much of my office work out to my pool! That has been a problem in the past when I drop my cell phone in the water!!)

But, much as I love that outdoor activity, there is just something about movies in the Summer!

The way I see it: The Fall is the time for "important" and "Oscar-worthy" movies---Winter is the time for the big family epics and hard-hitting dramas---Spring brings, well...let's just say we need to work on Spring...but SUMMER??
Summer is the time for "popcorn pictures"!
Summer means FUN!!
It's hot fun in the Summertime at THE AVON!!
And, we'll be having fun all Summer long!
