KUNG FU PANDA (PG) Looking for some slam-bang fun for the whole family? This charming and wonderful new film will bring out the kid in the eldest of viewers! The reviews have been excellent, and the voice talents of Jack Black, Angelina Jolie and Dustin Hoffman (among others) just add to the laughs. A perfect Summertime movie diversion at the Avon!

SEX AND THE CITY (R) Man, oh, man is this one hot as a pistol! It seems Decatur women prefer coming to the Avon because of a number of reasons...One being that we are a SAFER facility, and the other has to be, of course, our fabulous gourmet popcorns! Whatever the reason we are still packing them in for this "ultra chick flick", we are happy to see all of you!  BUT...You guys are missing out if you don't want to see it! There is some pretty steamy stuff in here for you! 'nuff said?

A NOTE FROM THE HEAD HONCHO...
The old-time showman in me distresses that there are so many of you who will not be able to attend the Jake Rademacher screening this Thursday, June 12th.
I know that a total 700 seat sell-out (in just about an hour) is a wonderful thing, but I sure wish we could have done several more showings so that ALL of you could be there!

I will say this: I am planning on bringing Jake's film in for a regular run sometime at Summer's end.
I know that there are gazillions of you who just want to see what all the fuss is about, and, you will be amply rewarded!

There are certain dynamics yet to work out for these future showings, but, I think we will get it all done in due time.

So, hang in there, and, as always, I will try to not let you down!

For those of you who have tickets for the big hoop-de-doo on the 12th: COME EARLY!!
Gary Sinise will open the film and do a Q & A afterward with Jake.

Remember that Water Street will be CLOSED Thursday, June 12th for this event, so enter the parking garage from NORTH STREET.
