SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING PANTS 2 (PG13) From the popular series of books, comes the sequel to the hit movie from 2005.
This has already shown to have a lot of enthusiasm from the fans of the series, with all of them giving it a "Thumbs Up". The 4 girls are older now, and in college and/or careers. Their exploits continue to inspire laughter, and, yes, a few tears...

MAMMA MIA!  (PG13) We sure hate to see this one go! It is wonderful movies like this that make all the hard work of running the theater so worthwhile! My wife said it all yesterday when she said "Let's keep MAMMA MIA! for the next 6 months, and bring THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA and HAIRSPRAY back in on the other screens!". That would be nice. But, impossible. It is time for MAMMA MIA! to leave to make room for more new movies, so you better get in to see it, either for the first, second or whatever time, before it is too late!

There is a great Western coming this Fall. It's called APPALOOSA and stars VIGGO MORTENSEN, ED HARRIS and JEREMY IRONS.
Also, if you are a fan of sweeping romantic adventures, look for AUSTRALIA, with HUGH JACKMAN and NICOLE KIDMAN . We have been playing the preview for this for months now, and it looks excellent!

It is obvious that I do have a romantic bent, as witnessed by "Somewhere in Time" (the most romantic movie ever made) and "Gone With the Wind", but the rest are an "alpha-male" indicator, huh?

SOME FAREWELLS OF MENTION:
It is this time of year that we have to face losing some of our best people to far, far away...
We already lost long-time staffer MARY HERROD when she graduated from Millikin in May and moved home to Indianapolis...
Then, another of our favorites, ABBY ANDRICK was gone at the end of June to work at a summer camp in Maine...
NOW, this Sunday will be our incredible Assistant Manager MOLLY KIICK's last day as she heads back to school at USC in Los Angeles!
And, in about two weeks, the irrepressible JENNIFER SNARSKI heads back to college in Greenville.
--That's a LOT of talent to lose!!

Hopefully, we will see many of them back for Christmas break, and then even next Summer...
BUT...
It doesn't make it any easier to say goodbye for now!

And, THAT is why we have openings for Fall!
